The Pokemon Center is a hub for pokemon trainers of all skill levels and walks of life. Here, trainers can acquire free food and medical care for their pokemon, in addition to cheap temporary room and board for themselves, provided they have a valid trainer's license from the League. Pokemon Centers can be found in any town with a significant enough population; qualified nurses run the centers and provide both care and local directions.
The Pokemon Centers in larger cities offer more services then the ones in rural areas. For example, the Lemon City center has a pokemon aid service, where lost or abandoned pokemon are cared for until their trainers return for them, or they are accepted into foster care.
While there is no true Pokemon Center in Guava Resort, there are trained nurses on staff in several of the resort's buildings who can provide similar care and treatment for visiting pokemon.
